Owl's Head
While researching the Adirondack Fire Towers I came across an old photo of one of my absolute favorite fire tower hikes, Owl’s Head in Long Lake, NY. I immediately knew I had to draw it. In this 5x7” charcoal drawing I aimed to capture the feeling of arriving at the summit of a fire tower mountain, emerging through the trees and looking up at the tall structure.
