Mt. Arab

$200.00

An aerial view of Mt. Arab fire tower and the observer cabin. Most of the observer cabins in the Adirondacks have been removed but this one has been turned into a museum. The Adirondack Fire Towers hold a brief but significant history in the Adirondack park. Wildfires of 1908 devastated thousands of acres of state land which caused the implementation of over 100 Fire Towers across NYS.

I just loved this vantage point for this painting, especially the mountains in the distance fading into the sunset. This painting is 10x20” on stretched canvas. The sides are painted but can also be framed.

This was the fifth piece of art in the Adirondack Fire Tower Collection. All artwork ships in 2-5 business days and includes an authenticity certificate. All artwork sales are final.
